Job Description
The School Education Department, Government of Punjab, is hiring School Teacher Interns (STIs) for primary, elementary, high and higher secondary government schools. Both men and women can apply.
Stipend per month
- Primary level: Rs 38,000
- Elementary level: Rs 40,000
- High and higher secondary level: Rs 45,000
Requirements
- Age: 21 to 45 years
- Qualification depends on the school level: BA/BSc for primary; a higher degree such as MA/MSc or BA/BSc (Hons) for elementary and above. The exact requirement for each level is on the STI portal. B.Ed or M.Ed holders get preference.
Internship period
- 3 November 2026 to 31 May 2027, with a certificate after completion
- No TA/DA is admissible to the candidates
