Saudi employers across construction, healthcare, hospitality, technology and industry hire foreign staff on sponsored work visas, with the employer holding the visa quota and processing the Iqama after arrival.

What the route involves

An employer with an approved quota requests a visa authorisation, you apply for the work visa at a Saudi mission in your country, complete any required professional verification, then the employer issues your Iqama after you land.

Common requirements

• A signed job offer and a contract uploaded to the Qiwa platform
• Attested qualification certificates, and professional verification where your country and profession are in scope
• A medical examination at an approved centre before the visa is issued
• A passport valid well beyond your intended start date
• A profession that is open to non-Saudis under the current Saudization decisions
