The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) published Advertisement No. 11/2026 in newspapers on 9 October 2026. Online applications are open and the last date to apply is 26 October 2026. Everything below is taken from the notice on the official PPSC website (ppsc.gop.pk).

- Livestock & Dairy Development (Extension Wing, Animal Health): Senior Veterinary Officer and related posts, BS-18, 61 posts, contract for 5 years, all Punjab
- Directorate of Breed Improvement, Livestock & Dairy Development: Veterinary Officer, BS-17, 40 posts
- Housing, Urban Development & PHE (PHATA): Assistant Accounts Officer BS-17 (12 posts), Deputy Director Engineering BS-18 (2 posts), Deputy Director Town Planning BS-18 (2 posts), all on contract for 3 years
- Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education: medical specialist posts in Punjab teaching hospitals, 107 posts across five case numbers (34-RD to 38-RD); the Senior Registrar posts are on contract for 3 years

Added together, the notice lists 299 posts. Each post has its own case number, quota split (open merit, special persons, minorities, women) and qualification, so read the row for your post carefully.
Age limits
The age limit is different for every post. For example, Intelligence Officer is 21 to 35 years, Tehsil Sports Officer is 18 to 25, Veterinary Officer is 21 to 30 and Assistant Accounts Officer is 21 to 30. The notice adds 5 years of relaxation for male and 8 years for female candidates. The age of transgender candidates is based on the CNIC.
Written test
Where a test is held, it is one MCQ paper of 100 marks and 90 minutes. Some posts test only the subject (for example veterinary science or accounting). Others split the paper between subject questions and general ability: general knowledge, Pakistan Studies, current affairs, Islamiat, geography, basic maths, English, Urdu, everyday science and basic computer studies. The test schedule and syllabus are issued only on the PPSC website.
How to apply
- Read the “Important Instructions” on ppsc.gop.pk about the application fee, test and interview
- Apply online on the PPSC website before 26 October 2026
- Deposit the fee online (ATM, mobile or internet banking, 1Link branches, Jazz Cash, Easy Paisa and other micro-finance banks)
- Keep your degrees with marks or percentage certificates ready; CGPA alone is not accepted at the interview
Good to know
- Candidates who claim an equivalent qualification must provide an HEC or department equivalence certificate
- In-service candidates should have applied for an NOC from their department
- Registration certificates (PEC, PCATP, PVMC, PMC) must be valid by the closing date for the posts that need them
