Who can apply
You need a graduation degree (second division) from an HEC-recognized university and basic computer knowledge. Candidates with a graduation degree and five years’ experience in the intelligence wing of a law enforcement agency can also apply.
Age limit
The base age is 21 to 35 years. The notice adds 5 years for male candidates (up to 40) and 8 years for female candidates (up to 43). For transgender candidates the age is based on the CNIC.
Written test
One MCQ paper of 100 marks and 90 minutes. About 80% is general ability (general knowledge, Pakistan Studies, current affairs, Islamic Studies, geography, basic maths, English, Urdu and everyday science) and about 20% is basic computer studies. The test date and syllabus are announced only on the PPSC website.
