The School Education Department, Government of Punjab, is taking applications for School Teacher Interns (STIs) in primary, elementary, high and higher secondary government schools. Men and women can apply.
Stipend
- Primary level: Rs 38,000 per month
- Elementary level: Rs 40,000 per month
- High and higher secondary level: Rs 45,000 per month
Age and internship period
Candidates must be between 21 and 45 years old. The internship runs from 3 November 2026 to 31 May 2027 and finishes with a certificate. No TA/DA is paid.

- Apply online by 18 October 2026, 11:59 PM
- Merit list displayed: 23 October
- Objections: 26 and 27 October
- Interviews: 29 and 30 October
- Final merit list: 31 October, 10:00 AM
- Agreement letters: 2 November
