What the work involves

Greeting and advising customers in an assigned department, processing checkout and return transactions, unloading trucks and moving stock to the shelves, keeping displays merchandised, and picking online orders for customer collection. Freight and receiving associates may operate forklifts.

Common requirements

• No formal qualification; Home Depot says it welcomes all experience levels, from entry-level to people with a prior career
• Willingness to lift product and to work morning, afternoon, evening or overnight shifts
• Comfort advising customers on home improvement products
