What the work involves

Checking guests in and out, handling requests and complaints, cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas, running items to rooms, and keeping the property presentable across early, evening and overnight shifts.

Common requirements

• No related work experience for most entry roles; Marriott's own housekeeping adverts also ask for no high school diploma
• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent for front desk roles
• The physical side, including pushing and pulling a loaded housekeeping cart over sloping and uneven surfaces
• Availability for shifts, weekends and holidays
• The legal right to work in the United States
