Cleaner — Hotel, Hospital, Office and Residential

Saudi Employers & Licensed Agencies (Aggregated) Saudi Arabia, Nationwide Full-time SAR 700 – 1,800 / Monthly

Job Description

Saudi facilities-management contractors, hotel groups, hospitals and licensed recruitment agencies hire foreign cleaning staff year-round across Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam — hotel housekeeping attendants, hospital and clinic cleaners, office and commercial cleaners, industrial and airport cleaning crews, and household cleaners.

Which category you are hired under matters

Check this before signing. A cleaner employed by a facilities-management company, hotel or hospital works under the Saudi Labour Law: 48-hour week, overtime, end-of-service benefit, salary paid through the Wage Protection System, and the job-mobility rights introduced by the 2021 Labour Reform Initiative. A house cleaner working for a private family is classified as a domestic worker under a separate regulation, is recruited through the government's Musaned platform, and was not included in that mobility reform. Same work, different legal position — ask which one your contract falls under.

Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least six more months, plus police clearance and attested documents
  • Medical fitness certificate from an approved GAMCA / Wafid centre before the visa is issued
  • Basic English or Arabic for instructions, safety signage and guest contact
  • No formal qualification needed for most entry-level roles; hotel and hospital employers prefer prior experience
  • Hospital and clinic roles require infection-control training, normally provided on arrival
  • A Saudi driving licence only for residential or facilities roles that involve travelling between sites
  • Most employers set an age range of roughly 21–45

What is on offer

  • Roughly SAR 700–1,200 a month for entry-level cleaning and housekeeping, usually with accommodation and often meals
  • Roughly SAR 1,000–1,800 a month for hospital, industrial and airport cleaning, which carry stricter protocols
  • Higher fixed pay for housekeeping supervisors, which normally needs prior hotel experience
  • Employer-sponsored work visa and Iqama, medical insurance, and end-of-service benefit on Labour Law contracts
  • Accommodation, transport to site and annual return flights are commonly included — confirm each one in writing

Before you pay anyone anything

Never pay for a visa or a job offer. Saudi rules place recruitment costs on the employer, and this category attracts more recruitment fraud than most because the roles are entry-level and heavily oversubscribed. Use only an agency licensed by your own government — the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment in Pakistan, an eMigrate-registered agent in India, a BMET-registered agency in Bangladesh, or a Department of Migrant Workers-licensed agency in the Philippines — and treat any "free visa" or "azad visa" offer as illegal, because working for anyone other than your registered sponsor exposes you to an absconding (huroob) report and deportation.

Note: pay, hours and contract terms are set by the individual employer or agency — not by JobGader. Listings on aggregator sites vary in quality; verify the employer and the contract before travelling.
